The Passing of a Dear Friend in Radio

My good friend and radio producer, Art Clifton passed away early Sunday morning. Art was a shining light on this earth and will be missed terribly. He attended the Talkers Convention in NYC two years in a row (I met him in 2007) and he always stayed in touch. His good friend and radio host Father Tom Loya was with him at the last convention and it was such fun and a great pleasure to introduce them to many wonderful people in Talk Radio. Here is a photo Art loved (at left) when he got to meet one of his heroes, G. Gordon Liddy. I took this picture of them and sent it to him and he was so happy to receive it. You can read more about Art and post here. Our condolences and special prayers to Art and his family.

Here's a tribute from Father Tom Loya:
Art Clifton, producer and engineer for "Light of the East Radio" and assistant producer and engineer for "A Body of Truth," www.catholicradiointerntional.com passed away at the age of 64 following a brief battle with cancer. Art Clifton was a zealous, tireless radio producer and engineer. Because he believed in the best things in life he strove to make his radio work the best. But Art also believed in me and he dedicated entirely, what was unbeknownst to him, the last four years of his earthly life to my vision and message. Although I will remember Art Cliftion always, my memory nor that of anyone else is worthy enough for Art. So, I ask Almighty God Himself to keep Art in His Divine mind and may Art Clifton's memory be eternal.

'Born Liberal Raised Right' By Reb Bradley

Reb Bradley's controversial new book, Born Liberal Raised Right: How to Rescue America from Moral Decline - One Family at a Time, offers very controversial ideas on liberalism. The timing of its release by WND Books is perfect - post-election as Americans, especially conservatives, are trying so hard to regroup and get back to their original values and beliefs. Reb believes too many conservative parents are raising liberal kids!

Reb shows why conservatives must help their children mature past their infantile liberal stage or watch our country continue to pay the price. Societal pressures and foolish child-rearing theories gone mainstream are preventing parents from acting like parents. As a result, we’re failing to develop in our children the key ingredients of maturity - self-control and self-discipline. Unless corrected at a young age, too many kids will become adults ruled purely by magical thinking, passions, emotions, instant gratification and an inability to say “no” to themselves - the very hallmarks of the liberal mindset. But there is an answer!

Inside Born Liberal Raised Right parents will learn why the behavioral characteristics that exemplify liberalism are the “default position” in young children; and why the concepts of self-control and self-discipline must be taught early and often, in contradiction to the true nature of most children. It’s up to parents to turn their tiny tyrants into good citizens by helping their children overcome their “inner liberal.” In this timely book, Reb Bradley shows why our nation’s future depends on it. Bill Glynn Releases Must Read Document: 'I.O.U.S.A. NOT! USA Owes US!'

Bill Glynn, controversial author of "Left on Red," ranked one of the top 15 innovators in the world, takes on economic and social issues looming over America and the world economy and offers simple to understand explanations and solutions for our woes. He has appeared on TV with Fox Business Network anchor Neil Cavuto, is a regular guest on over 80 radio stations and broadcast networks nationwide and has joined broadcasters and leaders including Hugh Hewitt, Rita Cosby, Ross Perot and many others in presenting his solutions on the failing economy.

A movie and short book - "I.O.U.S.A." - recently examined the spiraling national debt and economic decay presenting the facts and interviews from America's most successful and brightest executives including Alan Greenspan. The U.S., burdened now with $10 trillion in debt, is on the verge of bankruptcy and "I.O.U.S.A." painted a grave picture of these facts. Bill Glynn believes we are owed answers and solutions to protect our way of life. In fact, he is often quoted saying: "If America were a company, and we should be viewed as such as a capitalist nation, our board of directors and management would be fired and in Jail."

As a shareholder of this nation demanding solutions to America's problems, Bill Glynn's response is "I.O.U.S.A. NOT! - USA Owes US." The document is a quick read and available to download at http://www.billyg.net/. In this hand guide, he addresses eleven sore subjects (only a few of many) that America must overcome in order to keep our society and way of life going. In the first chapter, "The Silver Bullet," he outlines a variety of ways we can move forward to solve some the present economic woes and the many issues facing our country.

If we allow the government to do more of the same, we will lose international confidence and will be cut off from those nations buying our debt that are keeping the USA from bankruptcy right now. As bleak as all this sounds, Glynn's solutions are simple and attack the very cancer that is crippling our nation, economically and socially. Glynn's pioneering "10% Solution" to eradicate the U.S. deficit is among the most noted across the country. If you plan to vote for McCain and Palin or Obama and Biden, this guide will wake you up and provide education and insight on issues everyone should understand going into one of the most important elections in our lifetime.

"I.O.U.S.A. NOT! - USA Owes US" addresses the most controversial issues facing America and offers simple solutions - to eliminate the national deficit, avoid economic war, and eliminate special interests. Every politician and citizen should read this eye-opening guide before going to the polls in November. Get educated on the issues. Download this hand guide at no charge at http://www.billyg.net/. Forward it to all your friends, family and colleagues.
